Answer: The structure of the water separator is: ① cyclone blades; ② water storage cup; ③ water baffle; ④ filter element; ⑤ manual drain valve. The function of the water separator is to filter out dust and impurities in the air and separate the moisture in the air. The working principle of the water separator: After the compressed air enters from the input port, it is introduced into the cyclone blades. There are many small notches on the cyclone blades, which force the air to rotate strongly along the tangent direction, so that the impurities mixed in the air obtain greater centrifugal force. The water droplets, oil droplets and dust separated from the gas flow along the inner wall of the water cup to the bottom of the water cup and are regularly discharged from the drain valve. After the incoming gas is centrifugally rotated, it must be further filtered by the filter element and then discharged from the output port. The water baffle is set to prevent the sewage in the cup from being rolled up and destroying the filtering effect of the filter element.
