Answer: Whether the oil filter needs to be replaced can be determined by whether the oil filter pressure differential switch is activated or whether the oil filter timer is zero. The lubricating oil and oil filter need to be replaced after the first 500 hours of operation of the new machine. If the oil filter pressure differential is large and is not replaced in time, it may lead to insufficient oil intake, causing high exhaust temperature and machine tripping. At the same time, insufficient oil will affect the bearing life. Maintenance should be carried out after the air compressor is shut down and relevant safety measures are taken, as follows:
(1) Unscrew the old filter with pliers.
(2) Clean the contact surface.
(3) Apply a thin layer of oil film on the surface of the new filter seal.
(4) Tighten the new filter by hand until the gasket is sealed; pay special attention not to use other tools when tightening the new filter to prevent it from being difficult to remove when replacing it next time.
(5) Check for leakage after starting the machine.
(6) Check that the pressure differential switch equipped with the oil filter is installed normally. The preset value is 150kPa.
