Answer: A refrigerated dryer is referred to as a cold dryer. Its refrigeration system belongs to compression refrigeration and is composed of four basic components: a refrigeration compressor, a condenser, an evaporator, and an expansion valve. They are connected in sequence by pipes to form a closed system. The refrigerant circulates continuously in the system, undergoes state changes, and exchanges heat with compressed air and cooling media.

In order to achieve the purpose of compressed air drying and reflect the goal of energy saving, a typical cold dryer is composed of other components in addition to the refrigeration system, specifically:

(1) Refrigeration and cooling part. Including precooler (air-to-air heat exchanger) and evaporator (air-to-refrigerant liquid heat exchanger).

(2) Air-water separation and discharge part. Including air-water separator and automatic drainer.

(3) Refrigeration part. Including refrigeration compressor, condenser, evaporator, expansion valve, energy (cooling capacity) regulating valve, solenoid valve, pressure switch, pressure controller (water volume regulating valve), liquid storage tank, filter dryer, stop valve, etc.

(4) Electrical part. Including operating switch, electromagnetic contactor, relay, compressor crankcase heater, computer board and other parts.

(5) Instrument part. Including inlet and outlet air pressure gauge, refrigerant pressure gauge (refrigerant pressure), etc.
